Learn about the history and cultural importance of papel picado, the decorative Mexican art craft. Papel picados are made by cutting elaborate designs – including birds, florals and skeletons – into sheets of tissue paper. Papel picados are commonly displayed for fiestas and religious occasions. All ages and all abilites are welcome. Space is limited; registration required.
