This workshop, led by Adams County Poet Laureate Aerik Francis, blends technique with practice to help you refine your spoken word performance.
We’ll begin with vocal warmups, breathwork and gentle movement before exploring performance tools such as projection, memorization, pacing, gesture and cadence. Participants will also have time to share their work and receive supportive feedback and coaching.
By the end, you’ll have new skills to speak your poetry proudly and powerfully.
Appropriate for teens and adults. This program will be hosted in English. Space is limited; registration required.
Fortalece tu presencia en el escenario y fomenta la confianza para compartir tu poesía en voz alta. Este taller guiado por Aerik Frances, poeta laureado del condado de Adams, combina la técnica con la práctica para ayudarte a refinar tus presentaciones de palabra hablada.
